Three Peaks Challenge

Over the weekend of 24/25 June 2017 Director & Independent Financial Adviser Chris Yates took part in the National Three Peaks Challenge to raise money for Norwich-based cancer charity Big C.

Chris was part of a 30-strong team who travelled from Norwich to climb Ben Nevis in Scotland (4409ft) Scafell Pike in England (3209ft) and finally Snowdon in Wales (3560ft).

The challenge began with Ben Nevis early Saturday morning, facing all weathers â€“ sun, rail, hail & snow! After a gruelling climb it was time to head straight to Scafell, a few hours respite in the minibus before setting off again.

Scafell Pike was imposing, the challenge here not so much the climb, it was tackled in the dark, with fog, making the path very dangerous indeed. No amount of bad weather was going to stop Team Big C though! Onwards to Snowdon, which was -3 at the summit.
